I got this camera because Olive has separation anxiety and I’ve been working on training her to be more comfortable when I step out of the apartment. It’s helpful to be able to see how she’s doing when I leave so I can understand what’s actually happening while I’m gone.
The camera rotates, so if she walks around the room I can still see where she is. One feature I really like is that it can toss treats. If she starts getting a little frantic, I can send one to help calm her down and redirect her attention.
We still have some work to do with the separation anxiety, but this camera has definitely given me more peace of mind. It’s helpful both for training and for those times when I need to run out for a bit and want to check in on her.
