This is one of those things that might seem a little unnecessary, but if you burn candles a lot it actually ends up being really useful. The set comes with a wick trimmer, a candle snuffer, and another tool with a little arm that you can use to adjust the wick.
The wick trimmer is the piece I use the most because it keeps those big bulb-shaped ends from forming, which helps prevent popping, smoking, and those huge flames that make a candle burn too hot. The other tool is helpful if the wick gets buried in wax or lays flat and won’t light, because you can pull it back up and save the candle.
The snuffer is probably the least necessary piece, but it’s cute and fun to use. The whole set is around $13 in a matte black finish. It’s cute and functional, and I really do reach for it daily.
