Bitter Orchard
⏱️ Prep Time: 2 minutes • 🍳 Cook Time: 0 minutes
This easy mocktail combines Ghia Original Apéritif with sparkling apple juice and a splash of lemon to cut the sweetness. It’s crisp, refreshing, and tastes like what you'd sip at a picnic in a field somewhere near a modern sculpture park.
A glass of Bitter Orchard garnished with a fresh apple slice and thyme.
This is my go-to “I have 3 minutes and need something that feels special” kind of drink. The Ghia brings those bitter herbs and yuzu notes, while the apple juice keeps it lively and accessible. A little lemon gives it structure, and the result is something clean, chic, and surprisingly addictive.

I just got back from a trip to Barcelona, and if there’s one thing that’s stayed on my mind (besides the sun and cava), it’s the Patatas Bravas I tried during a food tour. Golden, crisp potatoes served hot and crackly, with smoky tomato sauce and sometimes creamy aioli.
